As we get into the summer season we have lots to share with our regular customers as well as first-time visitors.

Our reservation policy has changed. We now accept reservations for groups of 6 or larger. Call the restaurant to make a reservation.

Thursday is Prime Rib Night. An 11-12 oz slice of slow-roasted Angus beef, served with horseradish sauce and real au jus. $3 off the menu price, only on Thursday.
Friday features half-price bottles of wine from our excellent wine list. Welcome to date night.
Sundays we serve Henny Penny, which is a dish from the fall and winter menu with a huge following. Simply penne pasta with bacon, grilled chicken and sun-dried tomatoes in a cream sauce, simply perfect comfort. Equally good as Monday breakfast.
Mondays are “Casual Cafe”, with Crabcake and other sandwiches available in addition to the regular dinner menu.

Good Eats Café is located in Kinsale on the beautiful Northern Neck of Virginia, nestled between the Rappahannock and Potomac Rivers. Good Eats is housed in a refurbished 1930’s roadside gas station and is owned & operated by Steve Andersen & Sally Rumsey. We opened our front door in August of 1997. Over the years our little roadside eatery has developed a large and dedicated following, basically by surprising our first time customers with their Good Eats dining experience.
Our credos have always been to serve the freshest locally sourced seafood and produce, expertly prepared with innovative techniques, priced fairly, in a casual, comfortable atmosphere with excellent service. All of our menu items and desserts are made from scratch, on our premises.
