Greetings,
Before we go into our specials for the week, we need to let our customers know that for this coming Sunday, June 14th, Good Eats will be opening our doors at 5:30 pm, instead of our usual 5:00pm. We will be going to see our daughter Schuyler’s matinee performance in The Westmoreland Players ‘I Remember Mama’. By the way, we understand that there are still some tickets available for this Saturdays matinee and evening performances (804-529-9345). Next Sunday, we will revert back to our normal 5:00 pm opening.
The end of the spring season is converging with the beginning of the summer season; our soup this week will feature a delightful combination of vegetables & herbs, all of which is sourced locally, Northern Neck Minestrone. This soup will have green beans, English peas, sugar snap peas, butter beans, spring onions, asparagus, and fresh dill and chives.
We will offer Grilled Tuna with Sesame Dressing & Watercress. The watercress is from our own fresh fed stream on our property.
Soft Shell Crabs with Lime Butter will be available this weekend.
Tonight is Thursday Prime Rib Night, and Sunday is Henny Penny.
We hope that we see some of you this weekend, and that not everyone on the Northern Neck will be attending graduation ceremonies and parties!
