Attention soft shell crab lovers…sad news, this looks like this may be our last weekend of the season to get these tasty gems. Availability is getting touchy so get them while you can.

Specials for this week will be:

Italian Tomato Bread Soup with Fresh Basil & Mozzarella Cheese.

Heirloom Tomato Salad with Laura Chenel Goat Cheese, Cured Olives and a Preserved Lemon & Fresh Dill Dressing.

Also, the very sensational Crab-on-Crab Summer Risotto (Soft shell Crab, Backfin Crabmeat, Corn, Butter Beans, Tomatoes & Buffalo Mozzarella).

Grilled Tuna with Mediterranean Tapenade & Lemon Vinaigrette,

And

Soft shell Crabs with Lime Butter Sauce.

This weekend our wine specials will feature a terrific summer wine, Vault Field Rose. We will also have on special Finca El Reposa, Malbec from Spain, and White Knight Viognier from CA.

Tonight is Prime Rib Night and Sunday is Henny Penny Night.

A reminder to our customers that Good Eats takes a brief break after Labor Day weekend, and we will be closed from Sunday 6th-16^th, reopening on Thursday Sept.17^th for the remainder of the season.

Steve has sufficiently recovered from his last round of “risotto elbow” in order to be able to offer one of our most requested specials this weekend;

Crab-on-Crab Summer Risotto (Soft shell Crab, Backfin Crabmeat, Corn, Butter Beans, Tomatoes & Buffalo Mozzarella), a Northern Neck summer in a bowl. What can we say, except that he must be a glutton for punishment!

The soup will be Curried Corn Chowder with Crabmeat.

Other specials for this weekend include:

It’s hard to believe, but this Saturday, August 8^th will officially mark Good Eats 13^th anniversary of our opening! For those of you visiting us this weekend, we will be giving you a small reminder of our early years, to which I STILL get requests for on a weekly basis. Bonus points if you know what it is I am referring to!

Specials for this anniversary weekend will be:
