Hello,
Whoa, it’s Labor Day already and only three days left until our one-week vacation…but who’s counting?!
Good Eats has had a great summer season this year, and we would like to thank all of you for making it possible. The kitchen staff is looking forward to recharging their batteries next week and getting geared up for our fall season for when we reopen on September 17th. Remember, we will be closed this Sunday, September 6th.
Our fall schedule will remain the same, serving dinner Thursday through Sunday. Menu changes for the fall will include bringing back Sunday as Fried Oyster Night. Henny Penny will be on the nightly menu and we will switch to the Winter Salad.
We are also bringing back the very popular Friday Night ½ off any bottle of wine special.
Specials for this week will be:
Crab & Corn Chowder (a Labor Day weekend tradition)
Heirloom Tomato Salad with Laura Chenel Goat Cheese, Cured Olives and a Preserved Lemon & Fresh Dill Dressing.
Also, Steve was able to procure another source for local soft shells so we are fortunate to be able to offer Soft Shell Crabs with Lime Butter Sauce to finish the summer season with.
Grilled Tuna with Mediterranean Tapenade & Lemon Vinaigrette,
And
Roast Fennel Crusted Salmon Filet with Thai Red Curry Sauce.
Tonight is Prime Rib Night.
Thanks, and hope to see you,
Sally & Steve
