These past few beautiful days combined with the cooler weather certainly lends itself to some inspirational fall cooking. Steve has been able to locate some wonderful local kale greens in addition to the lovely squashes, beans and Swiss chard that we’ve recently added to the vegetable mix.
So in keeping with the season’s bounty, we are offering for this week:
Kale Green Soup with ‘Pot Liquor’ Broth
And a special appetizer of
Steamed Mussels with White Wine & Garlic
Dinner Specials will include:
Roast Pork Loin with Chile Con Queso Sauce and Black Bea
Grilled Tuna with Buffalo Sauce & Sweet Corn,

As expected, the current Friday Night ½ Price Bottle of Wine is very popular. Our wine reps are VERY happy with our recent orders! It’s a good opportunity to try some of our different wines, as we will run this special throughout the fall
Tonight, Thursday is Prime Rib Night, and Sunday evening features Fried Chesapeake Oysters.
Not to be premature, but several of our customers have already been asking us when the end of our season will be, so file away Saturday, November 21st as The Last Supper.
