Hi,

This is the make-up week I promised those of you who missed the previous appearance of the

Risotto with Crab on Crab, a soft shell topped with backfin crabmeat.

Lots of cooking going on this week; the other specials are:

Grilled Tuna with Wasabi Butter and Pickled Ginger

&

Soft Shell Crabs with Lime Butter Sauce

&

Broiled Flounder topped with Buttered Backfin Crabmeat.

The soup this week is

Curried Cream of Sweet Corn with Spiced Crabmeat

And to top off all these good eats, we will again have blueberry pie.

An important note: this coming Monday will be the last Monday that we will open this season. My apologies to all of you who have become such loyal regulars on Monday, but my life has changed again (for the better this time) and I just do not have the time available to open on Monday.

Oh! I know how I can kind of make it up to you. We have learned enough practicing on Saturdays with reservations for groups of 4 or more, so lets just go ahead and make that the official Good Eats Cafe reservation policy every night. Again, making a reservation via e-mail is not dependable. Please call 804-472-4385 and we’ll get you all taken care of.
