Greetings from the monsoon. Don’t know what the weather is like where you live but here in the Northern Neck it’s very very heavy rain and pretty brisk winds, and because of that
Good Eats Cafe is closed tonight.

Hi,
Ok, exhaust system all repaired, we’re good to go again. Sorry to those of you who were inconvenienced last Sunday due to our unexpected closing.
We were able to score local butternut squash so the soup this week is
Cream of Curried Butternut Squash with Feta and Dill.
The other specials are the same as last week,

Hi,
Well it looks like we lucked out and dodged that Hurricane Earl; weather reports for the Northern Neck show nothing but sunny days all through the week-end. Which is great because we have a full line-up of food and wine to celebrate the end of summer. sigh.
Our soup this week is
Corn and Crab Chowder.
