There is nothing on this God given earth like Good Eats. My partner’s family has a house in Coles Point and Good Eats is always on our list of river weekend plans. I can’t get enough…especially the tahini salad dressing and jasmine rice!

I met my husband at Good Eats Cafe – my favorite restaurant in the Northern Neck! Nothing can beat Steve’s original Shrimp with Grits. My personal favorite of course is the Salmon with Thai Curry sauce which they special from time to time.
And to situate this fine establishment in Kinsale is quite amazing – a true testament to your greatness – no one minds the drive when there is gold at the end of this rainbow.
Did I say too much? Or not enough?

Since 1997 when we found our little slice of heaven in the Northern Neck in Ophelia, VA, we have frequented the Good Eats Cafe in Kinsale more times than we can count. Steve and Sally work hard to give you the best tasting fare imaginable with the use of their freshly grown herbs and background of culinary experience. We not only love their entrees, but also look forward to what new homemade soup they present each week.
